Superior leave have seen a tight supply in recent years, but the tightness is relieved to some extent by company-based cultivation. The supply of high-quality ginkgo leave is expected to see an increase in 2014, which is not a guarantee of adequate supply in following years.

As the stocked is used up, ginkgo extract will see a serious shortage in April to June of 2014, but the following harvest will stabilize the supply of ginkgo leave in July, so the extract's market price will fluctuate below range of 5 percent.
