The people suffering from anaphylactic diseases are soaring around the globe. The patients in Japan account for 30 to 40 percent of the country's total population. The patients in China doubled every ten years. Western medicine is just symptomatic treatment with serious side effect, and there is no specific for anaphylactic diseases. So more researcher switch to antiallergic food materials.

Researchers in OKAYAMA University and Dasen Food found that lettuce is benefit for allergic nasitis and dermatitis, which is published on related journals.

Maca extract is proven to have benefits of anti-fatigue and weight management. Si Xiuqin, director of Japan Changpan Institute of Herbal Chemicals, reported new research results of Maca extract. There are hundreds of foods and health products with maca extract in Japan and the west. As more consumers recognize the benefits of maca extract, it will see large demand growth in the future.

Professor Cui Tong, researcher of College of Food Science & Technology, Herbei Agriculture University, first disclosed his study result on Healthy Benefits of China's Hawthorn on 2013 CNIC. Professor Cui began his research in 1997. After comparing many different hawthorn growing in China and Japan, he leads his team to analyze hawthorn in China's 37 growing areas by HPLC, including flavonoid, phenolic acid and OPC. They also affirm hawthorn's benefits for coronary disease on the basis of rat model. Dietary fibre in hawthorn has the benefit to excrete lead, which is good for people in polluted conditions, said professor Cui.
