IFF is the world's largest flavors and fragrances manufacturing and producer with offices in 34 countries and regions around the world.On March 6,the newly established flavor production base by the company in Guangzhou officially completed,with the investment of $ 50 million ,which will provide flavours for food, beverages and dairy products companies on China market.
"China is a very important market, no matter now or the future ." the company said, emerging markets are the hope for the future, and China occupied a large share in the emerging markets,in addition to the factory, the company also set up laboratories and R&D centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and so on.
In recent years,IFF focused on the investment and capacity expansion in emerging markets .In 2010, the company invested $ 100 million in the Asian region, the factory in Guangzhou was one of the largest and most technologically flavor production bases .
The US-funded enterprises are very optimistic on the Chinese market and continue to increase the investment. In the next three years (2013-2015),The American chamber of Commerce in South China will increase the investment by 40% in China,the average annual investment budget is about $ 16.5 billion.
