And then some companies reached the supplying agreement with American purchaser in Feb and March.many resveratrol producing company responded the market fast.one hand they purchased the material Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb.et Zucc,the other hand they had to face the short of the Polygonum resource,The wild Polygonum has been destroyed heavily in 2007 for the big purchasing from American,some of company wanted to monopoly the supplying of resveratrol in China. Although 2 years passed ,but the mature and good quality for Polygonum has not grown up, the herb needs over 3 years to get the active ingredients accumulated.
Now in China market the resveratrol facing the resource short will last for long time.and good quality resveratrol can be provided in Hunan Province and Shaanxi Province.
The main content of resveratrol purchased by international market is 50 percent,the cost of per 50 percent resveratrol is about 600-700 RMB,Usually the big purchasing price is no more than 1000RMB/KG.but the market price will be increasing.
