On May 16 at the “Health is the Future” conference in Beijing, Nestlé Yiyang and Xiaomi MIUI unveiled their joint project, “Nestlé Yiyang Xiaomi MIUI Intelligent Nutrition and Health Platform.” On the platform, with the help of big data, users only need to select daily dietary intake, and provide data such as weight, blood pressure, sleep, and exercise through Xiaomi’s smart wearable devices. The platform generates a six-dimensional nutrition report with one click, with dietary recommendations tailored for individual health needs. In addition, according to the 320,000 copies of data the nutrition and health platform has accumulated, the “Big Data Report of Nutrition and Health Food Consumers” was also released. It shows that the status of dietary intake in China is not optimistic, and the per capita daily intake is far below the recommended standard. Nestlé Yi Yang and Xiaomi MIUI hope that the report can arouse public concern about the importance of dietary nutrition balance.
