From the start of 2008, the market of epimedium extract had set off a wave of burst demand,which led to the rapidly increased price of epimedium extract,especially for the lobular epimedium with the highest concentrations.So far,epimedium price rose as high as 400%.
In 2012, part of enterprises did not purchase too much epimedium due to the market downturn and the high price of epimedium.
In this month, the inventory had almost sold up. At present,the enterprises which can supply epimedium were a few companies such as Shaanxi Jiaherb, Guilin Layn and Hanzhong natural valley.Hangzhou Skyherb told herbridge media,although some domestic manufacturers have sold out the inventory,the enterprises would not consider purchasing again because of the limeted raw material on the current market.
Chengdu Hesheng told herbridge media,the price of epimedium extract was relatively stable.It was hard to buy raw materials until the new raw materials emerged.Compared with the epimedium extract at the same time of last year,the price was similar or slightly lower.Domestic epimedium extract manufacturers will maintain the supply this year.
Guilin Layn told herbridge media,the demand of epimedium extract at end-market kept stable.It is impossible to fluctuate before the harvest of epimedium extract.
