China Stevia Planting Area Reduce

According to herbridge media,In 2012,China stevia planting areas are mainly in Anhui and Jiangsu province,the planting area decreased by 50% than last year because farmers' enthusiasm has signifantly reduced in case of low price in last year.The entire planting area is about 50,000 mu in China,and the dry stevia leaves' output is approximately 10,000 ton.
The market price of stevia is about￥10,000/ton in both Mingguang,Anhui and Dongbei area of Jiangsu province ,and ￥8,000/ton in Dongtai,Jiangsu province.It is expected that the planting area of stevia will continue to reduce in 2013.
