As horse chestnut is basically cultivated in the Europe, domestic manufacturers of its extracts are importing raw materials to decrease the production cost in China. The extract is primarily for Europe and America. The main suppliers are German and India except for China. Domestic manufacturers have the advantage of the higher B-AESCIN level in products. But the high prices for horse chestnut squeeze profit margins, several manufacturers stopped production successively in China.
The market is expected to remain stable in China.
