China Allicin May Keep Stable Supply

Only a few manufacturers supply allicin for applications in pharmaceuticals, supplements and feed in China. The very high prices for garlic stopped manufacturers in 2011. The market demand declines amid European debt crisis in 2012.
With the main specification of 1% allicin, the products have been in stable supply since early 2012.
“Allicin is primarily for export. Fewer foreign buyers came to this year’s CPHI Shanghai.” says Manager Zhao from Shandong Juye Shennong Co., Ltd, a professional manufacturer of allicin in China.
The garlic production decreases by 30 percent from last year. The garlic’s unstable prices will eventually affect the extracts’ supply. But up to now, the extracts have been in stable supply.
