As a traditional variety in the plant extract field, St. John’s Wort extract is still in such a market state in 2012 as in normal years.
To the knowledge of Herbridge Media, recent market demands for St. John’s Wort extract were not too strong. Despite of slight rise in the price of St. John’s Wort, St. John’s Wort extract remains stable supply, with little changes in price. Due to smaller profit space and non-active market demands, some former producers of St. John’s Wort extract haven’t carried out production now. They supply the market with their inventories.
According to market laws in previous years, market demands for St. John’s Wort extract will increase in the second half of the year. In addition, as fresh St. John’s Wort will be harvested soon, many producers will put into production to meet market demands in the second half of the year.
