Herbridge, 19 Dec. 2011_The competition from foreign rivals may force domestic manufacturers to decrease lutein prices in China.
"China received many inquiry orders but not purchasing orders for its higher lutein prices. Considering this, domestic manufacturers of marigold extractum already adjust prices and thus lutein prices drop accordingly in China," said Mr Gu, General Manager from InnoBio in an interview with Herbridge.com.
The global growing area of marigold will be largely expanded in 2012. If everything goes well, marigold prices are expected to decline significantly in the future.
