Herbridge, 21 Nov. 2011_Synephrine, hesperidin and bioflavonoid are considered as early products in citrus extract lines. Up to now, these three products are in stable supply in China. Compared to the other two products, synephrine has better market demand.
"Citrus primarily grows in Sichuan, Hunan, Jiangxi and Zhejiang provinces." said sales person from Ningbo Traditional Chinese Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd, the leading manufacturer of citrus extracts in China. The decreased production of citrus and farmers' reluctance to harvesting leaded into higher prices in 2010.
Consistent with adequate citrus avaiable in 2011, citrus extracts are all in stable supply in China this year. Synephrine, hesperidin and citrus bioflavonoid are primarily for use in international dietary supplements industry. The prices for 6% synephrine, 90% heseridin and 50% bioflavonoid are offered around 100 RMB/kg, 100RMB/kg and 80RMB/kg, respectively in China.
The markets for synephrine, hesperidin and citrus bioflavonoid are expected to keep stable in the next three months in China.
