Herbridge, 18 Aug. 2011_As China doesn't produce saw palmetto, domestic manufacturers have to import saw palmetto oil for saw palmetto extract production in China. Owing to small demand and RMB appreciation, very few manufacturers involve in the extracts production in recent years. 25% and 45% fatty acids are available in the market, but the prices are offered differently by manufacturers.
Generally, the prices for 25% and 45% fatty acids are around 120RMB/kg and 302RMB/kg, respectively. The market is stable in China. With some products in stock, manufacturers will adjust production schedule according to the demand.
