Herbridge, 11 Aug. 2011_Centella is experiencing its harvest season in August in China in 2011. Unlike the last harvest, the centella doesn't suffer from serious supply this year. The new crops' prices are around 9RMB/kg, almost seeing no change compared to last year.
Several manufacturers are located in Guangxi province, which is the home of centella in China. The prices for centella asiatica extracts vary significantly attributed to production technology, market positioning and quality level. 10% asiaticosides are offered at 220RMB/kg, 300RMB/kg and 400RMB/kg, 80% asiaticosides at 3000RMB/kg, 3200RMB/kg and 3900RMB/kg in China. The prices for centella asiatica extracts to date keep stable.
