The blueberry extract market keeps stable in China, according to herbridge.com. As for the cultivation possibility in the Northeast, Yao, General Manager from Daxinganling Lingonberry Organic Foodstuffs Co., Ltd told herbridge.com the cultivation future is not optimistic both in China and Europe. On the one hand, it costs too much to cultivate blueberry trees for a long time. On the other hand, the berries from cultivated trees offer too poor quality to produce blueberry extracts. On the whole, it is hard to realize large-scale cultivation in the near future.
Only a few manufacturers supply blueberry extracts in China. The 25% specification is quoted around 2500RMB/kg in China.
