The increasingly significant inflations present additional challenges to the serious supply situations. The market will probably run at a high level in the near future.

With the corporation name changed into Guangxi Changxhou Natural Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, the company invested ￥3 million for the production of XishangleDing in early 2009. XishangleDing is the first product through which the company hopes to penetrate in domestic finished drug market.

According to herbridge.com, the centella extracts saw higher and higher prices in 2010.  80 percent pure asiaticosides rose over ￥ 4000 per kilogram in late 2010. Currently, asiaticosides remain high prices that range from ￥4200 to ￥4500 per kilogram. While centella will see the harvest in July to August, it is too early to say how the market may perform in the near future.
