Wagott Receives Patent for Reb A Production

Herbridge, 25 April 2011_Chengdu Wagott Bio-tech Co., Ltd announced that United States Patent and Trademark Office granted the company a patent related to its high pure rebaudioside A on April 12, 2011.
Wagott submited the patent application to USPTO as early as 2007. This is the first patent related to high pure Reb A to be granted by USPTO in China. Under the patent, over 99 percent pure Reb A can be produced. The patent, entitled "high-purity rebaudioside A and method of extracting same" represents that Wagott leads the world in high pure Reb A production.
