Herbridge,28 April 2011_There are no signs indicating that curcumin prices may signficantly decline in the future. According to herbridge.com, the market will continue to run at a high level in H1 2011.
The higher prices associated with greater demand drive the development of China tumeric industry. Some established companies are considering or have involved in curcumin production. On the other hand, some small curcumin manufacturers decided to stop production attributed to fierce competition and extremely high turmeric prices.
According to herbridge.com, the prices for 95 percent curcumin are around 1600RMB/kg at which the prices are expected to keep in the near future.
