Herbridge, 31 March 2011_"Provisions for the Regulation of Food Additive Production" published by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) has been taken effect since June 1 2010. The provisions set forth the application procedure for a food additive production permit, require the keeping of production management records and specify the particulars to be listed on the label and instructions for use.
The provisions require food additives to be completed with label and instructions. Manufacturers are required to state food additive on the label. Some food additives with potential dangers in some people are required to offer warning labels.
