Herbridge, 30 Mar.2010_Synephrine, also known as citrus aurantium extract, is presently in the period of slack sales. According to herbridge.com, there is no large amount of synephrine available in China. The market may keep stable before the coming harvest.
Manufacturers primarily supply 6% and 30% synephrine in China. In recent years, some manufacturers decided to or alrealdy withdraw from the market attributed by smaller and smaller demand. There are only a few manufacturers for synephrine production in China, primarily concentrated in Sichuan and Hunan province. Some manufacturers also supply synephrine in Shaanxi province. According to herbridge.com, the prices for 6% synephrine are maintained around 110RMB/kg. Moreover, 98% synthetic synephrine is also available in China.
Manufacturers begin production in May and June when Citrus is harvested in China. Synephrine sees the largest demand at that time. The market is expected to keep stable before the harvest in China.
