Herbridge,30 Dec.2010_The State Food and Drug Administration(SFDA) recently published "Supplementary Regulation on Natural Medicines Registration" and "Technical Requirements for Research of Natural Medicines" for public consultation.These two new regulations aim to encourage innovation and demonstrate features of natural medicines.The draft underlines that:the safety,effectiveness and quality control on natural medicines should be supported by sufficient experimental data during research and development;the clinical efficacy should be reviewed through modern medical theories and requirements;indications must be described in technical terms of modern medicine.
