Therefore,some suppliers can't offer quoted prices.After long-time tight supply for silymarin,some manufacturers received orders with shipments at late Nov.in China.In addition to filling the demand for old customers,they can also entertain new orders to some extent.
According to herbridge.com,the silymarin prices between late Oct. and early Nov. was at the lowest level this year--the prices for UV80 silymarin (30 silybin A+B) and UV80 silymarin(30 silybin+isosilybin) were around 450RMB/kg and 400RMB/kg,respectively. Herbridge.com predicted that silymarin may continue to rise in the future.Because the production cost are skyrocketing,and some enterprises may hold back stocks on hopes of better prices.
