Rhodiola Rosea wildly grows in Xinjiang province.It is overexploited year after year without suitable protection measure,resulting in its very poor quality and output this year.Most enterprises can't get suitable raw materials and have to give up producting rhodiola rosea,even who mainly promote these ones.A few of 3% rosavins and lower content ones are available in China,but almost no companies can supply 5% rosavins.Of course,enterprises may hold back stocks on hopes of better prices.
According to herbridge.com,the prices for rosavin serial products soar in China.3% rosavins price was around 260RMB/kg in August,but now it rises to 350RMB/kg,even 430RMB/kg.
In additon,Xinjiang province has intensified protection of wild plants.
