SFDA:Tibetan Medicine' Quality Standards Will be Improved in 2010

Herbridge,31 August 2010_State Food and Drug Administration(SFDA) will fulfill quality standards improvement on 114 varieties of traditional Tibetan medicine(medicinal materials,finished pharmaceuticals) this year.Of which,Tibet will complete the work of 51 varieties.
It is reported that the total industrial output value of Tibetan medicine is estimated around RMB 1 billion with 50% annual increase.
The production of Tibetan medicine is on the way to a standardized,normalized and scientific administration. Experts said,but the overall industry environment should to be further ameliorated in China.
