According to herbridge.com,Guangxi province is rich in high quality centella asiatica. But it sees a poor harvest this year:low content and output reduction. The quoted price for centella asiatica rose to ¥9 from ¥5 per kg in May.The combination of poor harvest, increased labor costs and production costs lead to price increase of centella asiatica extracts.
The market prices for 70% and 80% asiaticosides are around 2900RMB/kg and 4000RMB/kg,respectively.80% asiaticoside price is about 15000RMB/kg.Each price rises by ¥500 per kg compared to February.
