Herbridge,13 April,2010-According to China Health Care Association statistics,the new approved products grew significantly in February compared to that in January.There are 144 kinds of novel health products certificated in February in China,including 139 kinds of home products and 5 kinds of import products.
There are 31 varities of nutritional supplements approved in February,vitamins,minerals,calcium being overwhelmingly dominant for them.It is worth while to note that a VC and choline supplement was approved in February.Choline is an uncommon ingredient included in nutritional supplements.There are only nine kinds of choline supplements by February in China.
There are 113 kinds of novel funtional products in february,comprising 109 kinds of primary raw materials of five groups.Herbal materials still dominate with 52 varities of plants used,accounting for 59% of total varities of materials.Herbal raw material with high utilisation rates are successively as follows: American ginseng,Chinese wolfberry,Eucommia ulmoides,Astragalus mongholicus,Ginseng,Radix Pueraria.These new arroved products involve 16 function.The most favored three characteristic are successively as follows:enhance immunity,alleviate physical fatigue,increase mineral density.It is important to note that a new product with the function of boosting milk production was certificated in February.There are only eight certificated products with this fuction by February.
