Herbridge,29 March 2010-The drought in southwest China bring frustration to the herbal extract industry.Currently,the price for raw materials specially grown in this area is rising.

    Rosemary extract was not affected by the drought.Guizhou RedStar Development Duyun Lvyou Co., Ltd.  said, rosemary is harvested in November.It is not the growing season now and rosemary hasn't been transplanted yet.The rosemary output will not be affected if it is not drought in summer.Currently,Guizhou RedStar Development Duyun Lvyou Co., Ltd. has developed rosemary serial products based on the raw material advantages in South Guizhou,mainly supplying 15% and 20% oil-soluble rosemarinic acid,and carnosic acid(less than 60%).

    The drought would not affect the rosemary supply.We can meet the domestic and international demand.Hainan Super Biotech Co.,Ltd. claimed.Hainan Super has been dedicated in rosemary extracts production for ten years and operates its own farms in Hunan and Guizhou.They developed new technology on removing color and taste in September,2009.They can offer colorless odorless tasteless 20% oil-soluble rosemarinic acid.It can be widely used in the skin products and the cosmetics including shampoo and fragrance.

    According to herbridge.com,rosemary mainly grows in Guizhou and Hunan province.The price is stable currently.The price for 20% water-soluble rosemary is about 900RMB/kg.The price for 25% oil-soluble rosemary is around 450RMB/kg.
