The health product market has tremendous potentiality in China.In recent years,the market should be booming with the constantly developed economy and gradually increased awareness of healthy life.However,the authoritative survey shows that 53% people don’t trust health products and 34% extremely mistrust health products.Participants discussed the root of the problem and try to give advice to make the market develop healthily and orderly.
There is no perfect health product supervisory legal system in China.The market admittance rule is not strict.Even some manufactures without R&D department are allowed to be registered.Meanwhile,the penalty for an illegal act on health products is not heavy and just a fine.Some unethical manufacturers are prepared to pay the penalty.
In order to appeal to consumers and pursue interest,some manufacturers made exaggerated or false advertising at any cost.The nonnormative advertising occurred frequently.
Consumers have little relevent knowledge.They always confound health product with pharmaceuticals,especially facing the massive advertisements and persuasive introductions.They are liable to be cheated and sometimes become the tool of business.
