        Climatic anomaly lead to the poor harvest of flos sophorae immaturus.At present,the raw material is in shortage.Rutin price futher rose sharply so that manufactuers in China almost stopped purchasing raw materials.The raw materials exported have not yet reached the shore.Rutin series products are nearly out of stock.It’s predicted that there may be rutin supply in domestic market in March and April.

        The Sichuan earthquake affected the volumes of epimedium.The overexploitation of raw materials futher resulted in the decreased quality.Epimedium price began to generally rise in October,2009 when Icariin price increased to 400RMB/kg from 270RMB/kg in June. Epimedium was in severe shortage on account of raw material sharp dicline.In addition to corner goods of some enterprises,Epimedium price rose sharply.10% icarllin price is approximately 850RMB/kg presently.There are 500 kiograms of goods in domestic market.The material will come into the market in July and August in 2010.

        There is abnormal climate in northest China in 2009. Milk thistle sujected to drought in jointing stage,continuous rain in pollination period and heavy rain in the harvest season. Milk thistle experieced considerable reduction. Silymarin series prodcuts price began to rise since the harvest time.The purchasing price of raw materials doubled this year.There is no a large amount of raw materials in market presently.These series products are not generally out of stock like rutin series products,but the major manufacturers are all busy for the received orders.The raw material will be on the market in September.

        The wide range of drought in Africa resulted in the serious short supply of griffonia seed.5-HTP supply become generally tight in the second harf of the year.The price rose continuously.5-HTP was once out of stock in the market.The news of garffonia seed bumper harvest finially comes after a long period of waiting.The raw material will come into the market in February.However,the time when griffonia seed arrives China will delay.
