Yohimbine as a kind of alkaloids is isolated from yohimbe bark exported from Africa. Yohimbine HCl is more stable but the price is much higher.Therefore,the demand for yohimbine is much greater than that for yohimbine HCL.

Participants said the same sample was utilized by HPLC,but the determination method was probably different in enterprises for lack definite stational standards.Which to some extend influenced the quality.It is therefore not difficult to understand the price of large difference.However,it is not possible to get 8% yohimbine at less than 300RMB/kg,participants said.
